Hi All,
If our SaaS Success Factors implementation has been deployed to a particular data centre based in the US what options are available so that a user accessing from Australia has comparable performance?

Hi Lee, the most critical part when it comes to performance should be to provide learning content to end users within the SFSF Learning module as this usually involves high data volume for fancy presentations, SCORMS or even videos. If you are using the LMS module together with the SAP iContent server for hosting the learning content, there is an AKAMAI option available which can be activated to spread the content around the globe for better access. Beside from that there is also some sort of AKAMAI option for the BizX suite. This can be found in the provisioning settings and is mentioned as side note in some SAP documents. Unfortunately I was never able to get a propper documentation on how this works and how this would impact data privacy concerns etc. (for learning content this is no issue as learning content is not related to personal data). I admit I have not followed up on this for a while as I never really had the need for it. If you really experience perfromance issues and want to investigate on the AKAMAI option for BizX I can only recommend to get in touch with your CSM or implementation partner.
Kind regards
Roman
