Subsidiary company in SAP SF Employee Central

Hello all,

I would like to create a subsidiary company in Employee Central. Is that possible or the only way is to create a business unit under the legal entity?

If business unit is below legal entity in your structure, then that is indeed the best way to do it.
Hypothetically you could setup legal entity in such a away that there are parent and child versions of that, but that is definitely not the best practice (and rather cumbersome as well) way to approach that.

may I ask you why the Business unit does not show in org structure even though I have associated it to legal entity and I have associated division to BU? also, why in Basic Import ( Employee Data) there is no column to fill in Employee's Business Unit info?
