Hi all,
we meet an issue at existing Story reports for few days:
We can run story report, but in each component (table) we cant´t see data but only an error
"An error occurred while fetching the list of members."
Do you know what can be a root of this issue a and how to solve it?
Thanks, Míša

Hello Míša,
Usually these types are errors related to data models / data sources connections. There might be something wrong on the connection or directly data sources.
You can ask help from your Analytics / SAP Analytics Cloud team.

Thank you for your answer, I will try to ask partner for succession data model import - it can help to define if there happened something unexpected
Add: It seems, that there is some issue in Instance Refresh Tool - we refreshed PROD>DEV with OK result (no warning) (both at production version). SAP analytics investigate root of this issue as mentioned in SAP ticket. M.

Hi,
when you are unable to retrieve data from the datasource you have no authorization to the model. I recommend to check the permission settings and assign the user with a role that is granted access to the model.

Hi Míša,
Same issue occurs with our reports, suddenly no data is appearing in the EC story area.
Internal error occurred while processing.
For assistance, please contact your administrator or the SAP Product Support team, if needed.

Hi Mirjam, I think that your issue is a little bit different - you have a different error message.
Our issue roots was in internal error of Instance Refresh Tool for refresh between instancies in the same production space (PROD > DEV) what involved hardcoded permissions for Stories. SAP ran some code to help us and prmised to analyze IRT to prevent the same behavior.
Hope it will help you or others
Míša
