story report : filter error

Hi,

I have a set of filters in a container that the users can play with.

Suddenly, all filters give an error message (a red ! ) symbol.

There is no obvious trace of anyone changing these filters, so I ended up rebuilding them.

Any idea what could have happened ?

This is the first story report we launched for our HR users, and we have struggled with stability, cache and refreshes. So far, while it is great when it works, stability and reliability is an issue.  This is a dashboard displaying status and counting number of comments in forms.

Thanks,

Kris

Hi, I finally raised a support ticket.

The SAP agent asked me to change a setting. So this may be of interest to some of you.

open the story report, in edit mode, open settings,  query settings. Select "Disable Batch Settings".

This may slow down the report a bit, but it will update all data from the server rather than the cache, this is at least what I understood from the explanation.

So good luck.

Kris
