Story report Duplicate records Issues

Hi Team,

Currently, I am experiencing huge duplicate records in the Story reports when creating it for performance form templates to Capture the Section Rating - Objective/Competency and Overall rating. 

Please help me how to fix this

Is the duplication due to 'Other Ratings' returning more than one User ID? If this is the case you could create a calculated column that checks this (IF formula) and add a query filter to exclude one of the IF statements.

Hi,

When the query starts with employee entry then multiple records appears. It will be necessary to start the query with the template table from performance. You will access the data for a particular template without multiple records for one employee.

Hi Gloria, Thanks for the update.. I have tried with your answers, I am able to resolve 80% of the duplicate issues with the Aggregate and Cross tab options. Now I am having another issues that when I Employee records is showing better with removed duplicates, The issues is the count column still showing huge number like which is affecting the chart based analysis.

Hello, could you send us the solution how to fix it? I have the same issue when I have created the report Story for LMS (I choose the two sources: Learning History and Assigned Items) and I have a duplicates also.

We are having the same issue, even when we start the query with "Form Templet". Also, all columns for the same user are the same. What else can the reason be?

Hi Gloria. I also encounter the same problem with duplicate records in query. It not affects my calculated results in story but heavily slow down my report. I wait forever for it to load. Can I also send you my query to get your advice on how to remove the uneccessary duplicates?
