Story data dictionary (Not the old learning one)

Hi

I'm looking for the Story Data Dictionary please if anyone can help. So I can find fields as my search in Stories isn't working. I just want to be able to find fields without spending hours looking manually through tables.

I'm not referring to the Learning one as that's not for stories as the table names are very different. Although it would be good to have a learning story one as well for the future.

Thanks

Thanks. I have seen that before but if you search for something as simple as Gender, nothing is returned. I was hoping to dump it into Excel so I could just search for a field and it would tell me what table it was in.

Some clients use OData API Data Dictionary in Sf, that helps them to find the right table and then field. However, personally I think that you need to have at least a basic knowledge of SF and then you will easily find what you need. For example, if you know that Gender is a part of Personal information in Employee profile, you can easily find "Personal information" table in the Query and field Gender will be located there. Just check the in the module itself first and then apply the same logic in the Query. I've been working with the tool for more than 2 years and I've never used any online guidance, it's always possible to find the field manually knowing the system a bit (unless this field is reportable of course). Sometimes mdf objects might be not reportable by default and this could be a reason why you can't find it in your Story.
