Stories, filter down to the last performance and potential ratings

My customer is trying to have a story report that uses both EC and PMGM.

However we cannot filter down to the last performance and potential ratings and therefore, there are duplicates.

Is there a possible solution for this in reporting?

In a table report we are able to target the most recent rating so we’d like to explore this in more detail to see if similar options are in stories reporting.

I am also looking for this answer. I want to neatly show all performance ratings given to an employee. I can do this, however, I am getting repeating lines of data. My current report is an optimised story report and I have tried both cross tab and non-aggregated lists. My colleague has created a solution in the non-optimised story which works well, however we try not to use the non-optimised model as I know it is due to retire.
