Hi all,
We are currently considering how we can make the SEN Companion available to our users. Two ways are described in the corresponding documentation. One is via the autostart and the other is via another server. What could be the use case for the latter? What is the advantage here? This is not clear to me. Can anyone help?

Hi Franziska,
I think a common example of when you would start SAP Companion for Desktop is when you are using it to support a single application like SAP ECC and don't want it running all the time. In that instance, when the user opens the relevant application it could then be used to open SAP Companion for Desktop.

Shane
