Start and End page in simulation template

We have created a simulation template (for Projects) with an end and start page.

It was also stored in the Instant Producer as a default template so that the standard authors automatically use it for recording.

The problem is that the end page is inserted immediately after the start page of the simulation and the author then has to manually move the end page to the bottom.

Is there a possibility that the screenshots of the simulation are inserted after the start and the end page is also at the END without manual intervention?

Has somebody any experience on this? Thank you very much in advance

regards

SAP Enable Now assumes that any new content you add to an existing project (and a 'template' is really an existing project) should be inserted at the end - unless you tell it otherwise...

If you select a specific step and then start recording, your new steps will be inserted immediately after the currently-selected step. So you just need to tell your authors to select the first (Start) step before they click on the Record button, and they will be good to go. I usually change the Name of the page/screenshot in the first step to "SELECT THIS STEP BEFORE RECORDING" as a reminder. HTH.

Hello Dirk, thank you for your answer.

This works for the producer - but unfortunately it does not for the Instant Producer.

Is there a workaround for the Instant Producer - without changing it manually

thank you

Ah. Unfortunately not. Instant Producer isn't great with templates, in the base case. If I have SMEs using Instant Producer I tend to not use a template at all, and then manually add the Start/End pages during editing (which you likely have to do anyway).
