Standard Occupational Classification in SuccessFactors

Hello,

We are looking to maintain the standard occupational classification (SOC) in SuccessFactors for USA. But I'm not able to find a standard field in the system. I have checked in Job Classification USA and its not available. Is this something which we have to build as a custom field?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks,

Karthik

I too am looking for this functionality in SF but can't find it.  Do we need to create a custom field for the SOC?

I have added a customer influence request for this field as well https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/idea/326762

Hi Neeraj,

Thanks for your reply. That post was useful. So the only option we have now is to have a custom field built to maintain this? Thanks!

It's EEO I think you are referring to, that's the country specific stuff for job info commonly via manage business configuration --> jobInfo --> jobInfo_USA (the EEO fields have picklist EEO1CODE_USA etc.).
More details about EEO: jobclassguide.pdf (eeoc.gov)

Hi Jasper,

Thanks for your reply. As per my understanding EEO is different from SOC. In SAP HCM we do have both, but I don't see the SOC code in SuccessFactors.

Thanks,

Karthik

Hi Karthik - were you able to find an answer regarding SOC code in SuccessFactors? Not much documentation and any article with a link doesn't work.
Thank you,

Ava
