Standalone E-Recruitment : SU01

Hi,

We are implementing the "Standalone E-recruitment with integration to  ECC system(HR System). "   with below considerations.

1) Seperate EP Server.

2) Separate ECC(HR System) Server.

3) Separate E-Recruitment Server.

Internal Candidate will login to portal with HR (ESS/MSS) user credentials. In ESS the Internal Candidate will access the "Internal Cockpit application ".

I have the following doubts:

1) Will the User-ID and Password are same in "SU01" transaction in both ECC(HR System) Server and E-Recruitment Server.

2) If the User-ID and Password in both system are same, then if I change the password in E-Recruitment server. Will the "Internal Cockpit application "

works for the Internal candidate in ESS?.

"or"

Do we need to use different EP server for both  ECC(HR System) Server and E-Recruitment Server. If we need to use two Seperate EP servers for this scenario,  then please let me know the integration procedures.

Thanks and Regards,

Harish

Hello Harish,

1) If you set the user ID in IT0105/0001 in HR system and you transport the employee to E-Recruiting, then you will have the same ID and password, yes.

2) It depends if your portal user is the same as the one maintained in IT0105/0001.

Hi Nicole,

Thanks for the information.

Internal Candidate : XYZ

1) If XYZ user-id and password are same in both ECC(HR system) and separate E-Recruitment system in SU01 transaction. Now XYZ is able access the Internal Cockpit application in ESS.

2) I have changed the XYZ password in SU01 in E-recruitment server.  Now will XYZ is able to access the Internal Cockpit application in ESS?

and

3) I am assuming we can implement "Standalone E-Recruitment with integration to ECC(HR system)" with one EP Server(rather than two EP Servers) via SSO concept. Could you please confirm this?

Thanks and Regards,

Harish

Hello Harish,

I haven't tested that so far, but the access should be possible. Yes.
