Some pictures are not visible in SCORM

Hi Team,
We've created a Book as WBT for SuccessFactors Learning. If I export the Book as SCORM 1.2 , in some of my explanation bubbles the inserted pictures are not visible. But only in some of them. There is for example one page I just copied. On the original one the picture is visible, but not on the copied one. Could you please help me to fix that?

Hello Annette,

it looks like the link to the picture is broken during the SCORM 1.2 export. How exactly did you add the picture to the bubble? Is it located in your workarea? Is it in a different group (toolbox maybe?) or is it placed directly beneath the book page?

I would like to reproduce the behavior and see if it also happens to my book pages. Can you please also share the settings for exporting the SCORM 1.2 file?

Hello Annette,

thanks for providing more details. Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce this. Even when I copy the book pages with pictures from different sources, like directly on the book page or from the workarea, they are always there. I tried with SCORM cloud.

Is there any hint in the copied version without the image, like a link pointing somewhere? When you hover over the "missing picture" symbol, does the tooltip tell you anything?

I agree with Dirk, it should work either way but maybe there is a bug with copied book pages.

I'd suggest to open up an incident so that a support colleague can have a more detailed look at what is going wrong.

Hi Kristina,

thank you very much for trying. I also played a liite bit around with this, added some additional pictures to them which where invisible and in one case I just added an additional blank row. If I did this, the new pictures and the former invisible ones got visible. Strange behavior. In I will recommend to the authors to upload the pictures into the workarea.

Although it should work the way you did it, I'd suggest importing the image into your Workarea as a Media asset, and then use Insert Image from Workarea. When you insert it from your local PC, it is stored internally within the Book Page only, and that may be what's causing the problem. If you don't have access to the source file any more, you should be able to find it by opening the Folder for the Book Page.

as far as I know, the picture is uploaded directly to the bubble. This option is offered, if you edit the bubbles. Honestly, I cannot find the pictures in the objects ore somewhere else in the producer. My colleague uploaded it from her Desktop. Nevertheless, in some cases they could be seen and in some not. I repeated downloading the SCORM file some times and it is always the same, the pictures which are visible and the ones which cannot be seen.
