SLG1 Error Message Optimize call exception 4 Message no. INDEXING008

Hi

We are using E-Recruitment release 603 and I have an issue in our development client.  The internal job listing has stopped listing the jobs(publications) when the periodic services run the following error appears in transaction SLG1:

Optimize call exception                                                   4 for CatID: DA9F6B485149604DE10000000AC00580

An error occured during index optimization:

4 is

• RFC_COM_FAILURE

I have checked T77RCF_int_PUB and the entry exists with a X in the true column.  However the publication is not displayed.  I have also updated the search profile INT_POER in the IMG.

check your TREX config in transaction SKPR07. Enter HR_DOC as document class and click on SSR monitor. Than choose RFC tab and do a connection test

Hi Andy

We tried this and found there was an error in SKPR07 which has been fixed by Basis adn I have updated  INT_POER but this has not fixed the issue.

I have checked SLG1 and the error now states the following:

Optimize call exception                                                 0 for CatID: DA9F6B485149604DE10000000AC00580 Language:

Are you able to offer any further advice on this?

not really. have you tried searching SDN on this error of for notes? maybe you can open a message at SAP
