Hi Team,
We have a requirement where there is a workflow triggered in Employee Central MSS when there is a change like Promotion/Demotion in Employee Central for an employee by managers. This workflow is written using a business rule on Job Information.
However, the same workflow is triggering when an internal candidate is hired as an Internal Hire in manage Pending Hire from Recruiting to EC directly on a job requisition. We don't want the workflow to be triggered in this scenario.
Is there any condition we can add to bifurcate the Manage Pending Hire scenario and EC MSS scenario. Please suggest if you have configured something similar basis your experience.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi @Dilip_Kumar
Please use the Rule Context of the workflow rule in Job Information and mark it as Onboarding = "No". Then workflow will not trigger for Manage Pending Hire.
Please mark it as answered if this suggestion resolves your issue.
Thanks
Manish

Hi Manish,
Thanks for your response. However, the proposed solution doesn't work.
The scenario is direct hire from RCM to EC using MPH for internal candidates. No onboarding is involved in this case.
Also, I changed the rule context "New Hire/Rehire UI" to "No" hoping this would work, but it is also not working. Any other ideas please?
Thank you,
Dilip
