Hi all,
I have created three data sources, each from the same table of information (this is for a test). Each data source is filtered to a different population, so the counts for all three are different and separate. The fields in all three sources are the same:
User ID | Business Level 1 | Business Level 2 | Business Level 3
I want to create a Numerical Point to count all rows from each data source. It sounds simple, but I think I'm missing something perhaps obvious.
I have created a chart and linked all the data sources together (selecting all the fields to link), "All Data" link type. I have created a calculation which is adding the count of all three sources together, and this is being used as the Measure. This doesn't work on it's own?
If I select a bar chart, and pick Business Level 1 as a Dimension, the visual works and splits the combined data by Business Level 1, but If I change this back to Numerical Point, I obviously lose the option to select a Dimension (which I'm fine with, I just want all up number) but it then gives this error:
For the chart to render, you need to add a linked dimension between the primary model and the secondary model
If I add a Treliss, then I can add a Dimension and numerical counts work but of course, this splits it by whatever dimension i choose for the Trellis!
I know I might be being stupid here, but I can't quite understand.
FYI, I'm using embedded SAC in SuccessFactors.
Please help,
Thank you.
