I am parsing my simulation into MS Word template.

1. Before:

More than one screen image on one page however the image numbering remains at 1.

Benefit less pages.

Downfall image numbering remains 1

2. After:

Only a single screen image per page and the image numbering is sequential 1, 2, 3, etc.

Benefit image numbering is sequential 1, 2, 3,...

Downfall more pages as only a single screen image per page.

See attachment for more details

I would like the after (2) to remain but also increase the number of screen images to at least 2 per page!before-screenshot-2022-04-04-115718.pngafter-screenshot-2022-04-04-115923.png

I'm not really sure what you are trying to do, but there's a few things that can help you:

· Thank you for your answer Shane,

  1. Auto Crop setting was in place
  2. Numbering I carried out the recommended setting
  3. In terms of scaling i changed the setting to 25 percent
  4. Even after i changed the scaling setting to 25 percent i am still not able to fit all three screen shots on a single page - see uploaded screen shot for more details. A03-answer-screenshot-20220405-090943.pngll three objects should be able to fit on a single page (P1) image per page 1 over three (3) separate pages (P1 SAP GUI Version …, P2 SAP Logon - System, P3 SAP Logon - Options)

Best regards

Johann

Hi Johann,

You can modify the size of the screen image that appears on each page, to reduce the size in your case, by clicking on a screen image object in the list of steps and then clicking the Manual Crop button to select the part of the image that appears in the documentation.

If the images being generated into the documentation are generally too large, it is likely the top, left corner is the fixed starting point for the images. This can be changed in the Workarea Settings. To specify that the cropping mark does not have to be fixed in the top, left corner of the screen image:

1. Select the Resources > Adaptable Resources > Authoring Settings object
2. Start editing the object and double click it to open the Authoring Settings
3. Select the Auto Crop section of settings and turn off the Only Bottom and Ride Side field
4. Save the settings and synchronise them to Manager so that other authors can also access the modified functionality

This will reduce prevent the auto cropping settings from being fixed to the top, left corner of the screen images and automatically provide much smaller images.

As for changing the step numbering, you can do this in the Documentation Settings, as mentioned by Dirk. To do this:

1. Select the relevant object in the Resources > Documentation Settings section
2. Start editing the object and then open the Numbering section of properties
3. Change the Indexing value to Global - All Objects
4. Synchronise the change to Manager so that other authors can access the change.

Regards
Shane
