Hi,
Is it possible to use this start and end page as Simulation Template (Tools -> Producer -> Templates) or do I need to put start and end page for each simulation like this standard SAP content? [Please refer below screenshot]

You can't edit (or add to) a Book Page within a simulation. You're on the right track using a single, common Book Page in your Simulation Template, but you should add Placeholders to the Book Pages themselves, to bring in the simulation ("Project") Name, Description, or Short Description as necessary.

You have a problem if you want to have "Learn to..." vs. "You have seen how to...". Either adopt a text that works in both cases (e.g. "Information provided by this simulation includes...") and put this in one of the above properties, or consider custom properties for them.

Hi Mani,

You should create a Simulation with the structure that you require and use that as your template when creating new Simulations. The Start and End Book Pages can be handled in different ways. If the author is required to modify the content on the Start and End Pages, you must create child Book Pages for the Simulation, but these can be automatically created if the Simulation that you are using as a template has the pages. If the author is not required to manually modify the Start and End Pages, e.g. you use Placeholders to add the content to the Start and End Pages, you can just embed links to the Book Pages templates into your template Simulation.

The setting you refer to above is only used to default a Simulation, Book or Book Page into the Template field when you create the corresponding object.

Hi Shane. Thanks for the answer. I want authors to modify the start and end page based on the SAP transactions. But I am unable to put Book Pages in the start and end page simulation template.

What I did is created an empty simulation and added book page using -> Insert -> Insert Page macro -> Book Page. Here I am unable to add anything.

My client requirement is that I need to have (Refer below images) as start amd end page in a simulation page template which should be modifiable. Please guide me.
