Simulation doesn't fit within the browser window

Dear Enable Now Experts,

I'm experiencing an issue where my simulation keeps moving left, right, or up and down because it doesn't fit within the window.

Before recording, I verified that all DPI settings were set to 100%.

The recording area was selected as the browser content area with a size of 1600x900. This recording was done on a 27-inch monitor. Interestingly, when I made a recording on a smaller screen with the same settings, this issue did not occur.

Furthermore, after completing the recording, I adjusted the playback settings from "zoom for desktop playback" to "zoom to fit," synchronized everything, and even restarted the system. However, there hasn't been any change in the behavior of the simulation.

Is there a way to correct this simulation without having to re-record it? What should I be mindful of when using different-sized monitors to prevent this from happening?

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,

Funda

Your simulation has been recorded larger than the playback display can accommodate. Go to Playback Settings > trainer - Global > Visual Properties and change Zoom for Desktop Playback to Zoom to Fit.

In general, try to record at a resolution no greater than can be accommodated by your average user's screen.

Thank you for the response. As I mentioned above, I have already configured this setting in the preferences. However, this doesn't seem to have any effect it keeps moving in the simulation.

Where did you set it? There's the global setting in trainer - Global and then also mode-specific settings for each mode. Make sure these aren't overriding it. And that there is no Project Overrides for the simulation. Also make sure the Playback Settings resource you changed is the one that is being used.

Initially, I had my focus on the global settings, and they were configured exactly as you had described. However, thank you for the last tip - there was indeed a customized playback setting that was also in use. Now, everything is working as desired. Many thanks!
