Show only manager item-comments in employee signature

Hi folks,

We are using item-comments in competency and goal sections. And we use the Other rating's tab permission to show managers and others the comments and ratings but not for employee.

This year we want to show in employe signature only the manager comments and rating (because is the final official rating) but not the other comments such matrix or manager's manager.

It seems that it is not possible even with the others-ratingtab-item-permission. 

Do you see another possible solution to show only the manager's comments?

Hi @troman 

Indeed, the others-ratingtab-item-permission or setting up field-permission restrictions for item-comments will not allow you to determine the owner-role (only supported in section-permission). 

With the owner-role you can decide whose comment is visible to whom, but this is not available for the comments at the item level. 

There was an enhancement request a while ago about this requirement
