Dear Community,
we use employee flexible date for time account creation.
Basically, the hire date is the start date of the time account validity, but if the employee goes on parental leave, then the first day after parental leave should be the new validity start date of the following time account. To achieve that, we use a custom field where the flexible date is entered (and changed).
e.g.:
Step 1: Hire Date: 01.05.2024 with custom field filled with date 01.05.2024 - create annual leave account from 01.05.2024 to 30.04.2025
Step 2: add Parental Leave: 01.08.2024 to 31.07.2025
Step 3: Change the custom field to 01.08.2025 - create next annual leave account from 01.08.2025 to 31.07.2026
Unfortunately, the change of the custom field does not lead to a new validity period for the following time account. It seems that once an account with validity exists, the following account is always created seamless to that one, independent from the employee flexible date.
Also, it is not possible to change the validity in manage data due to an error massage.
So, we don’t know how to configure this requirement.
Is there a possibility to change the validity period by changing the employee flexible date or can it be changed manually or maybe by file - upload?
