Hello,
I haven't been able to find any valid information about the Proficiency Level Scales for skills and competencies in SAP's documentation on TIH. On an event last year at an SAP booth, I was advised to keep the default 5-level scaling. The reason for this was that it was very difficult to predict what impact adjusting the scaling would have on other functions in SuccessFactors.
On the other hand, I read in the current Implementation Guide and other TIH documentation that the scale can initially be customized to each customer. If I were to choose a 6-level scale for skills and competencies, for example, that would be possible according to this interpretation.
I'm a bit confused about the current status regarding the possible or recommended scaling.
