In our organization we evaluate Potential based on 4 different elements/criteria, rated on a scale (0-4). The average rating from this potential assessment is the Overall Potential Rating in SAP SF Succession Planning which is then shown in 9-box calibration grid. Our rationale of having a form is to substantiate the rating given based on the criteria.
As SAP does not offer functionality to build a Potential Assessment Form, we are managing this process off-system.
SAP suggested a workaround, of re-purposing the Ranking field, but we are using this for it's intended purpose, so this was not a viable alternative. Nor was creating another performance form.
We have submitted an Improvement Request to SAP as we would like this considered in their future roadmap.
Do any other companies have a similar requirement to undertake a detailed potential evaluation using a form?
