Hello experts,

I am completely new to SF LMS and have no idea about integration.

So, request your valuable inputs on the detailed steps required for SF LMS integration with a third party system and vice versa.

Scenario:

  • Integration from SAP LMS to third party sytem: extract key data fields(CSV format ) in order to be able to create scheduled offerings within the third party system( to run automatically every night and manually if reqd.)
  • Integration from third party to SAP LMS: upload of the scheduled offerings generated by third party through the Scheduled Offering (SO) Connector

Dear Mitali,

LMS has inbuilt functionalities to integrate to 3rd party systems.

Scenario 1: LMS has connectors functionalities which it can run on schedule basis. If the 3rd party system can place the file in SFTP, LMS pick the file and uploads it.

Scenario 2: Refer to the first point, connectors can pick the file from SFTP as .txt or .csv also.

Another use case - "Integration Center (IC)" In Bizx is an inbult functionality with this IC you can do field mappings, rules... and you can schedule the jobs to LMS.

Hope this helps you 🙂
