SF LMS and VLS MS Teams Integration - Error: Instructor was not able to start MS Teams session

Hi,

We have integrated MS Team integration with SF LMS instance, Below scenarios are working as expected-

• Integrated SF LMS and MS Teams successfully
• Successfully setup VLS Class and virtual is turned on
• Learner and Instructor received email notification for class enrollment and Instructor assignment along with Outlook invite with link to join class.
• Both Learner and Instructor were able to launch MS Teams for link in invite.

  Here after when Instructor trying to start the session , instructor not able to view the Join now option. Getting the below error while trying to start the session-

  Error: Instructor was not able to start MS Teams session

  Kindly, please let me know the possible answers. Please find the image for your reference.

Hi @Moulika9, 

we never had any problems with the instructor not able to join - have you check with your implementation works in your test system to verify? 

For me, it looks like the instructor is outside of the organisation, as he will be directed into a waiting room.

Hi Marc,

Thank you for answering the question and support.

Instructor is from internal not from outside of the organization. Let me investigate on this further ,whether both users and Instructor able to start/join the sessions.

Please let me know any tips further.

Hi Moulika, in this case I would check the permission with your Microsoft Team, if everything is set up correctly and also the documentation from SAP. If this persists, I would create a support case with SAP to check the settings and also the Class details. We have done Test with a lot of different Tool, which makes it easiser to find whats missing.
