SF Employee Central Contingent Worker End Date error

Hi Experts,

We are using Contingent Worker functionality in EC. We have a contingent worker record with work order end date of March 8th, 2024. On top of this record we have rehired them as full time employee with effective date of March 17th, 2024. Now when we try to update the work order end date from March 8th to March 15th, we are getting an error - Employment Information : Before rehiring an employee, you must dissociate existing employment information.

We have tried updating the work order end date via UI and Imports but getting the same error.

We tried the same scenario in another instance and its working properly there.

Any inputs/insights are appreciated!

SAP has agreed to resolve the defect as the issue is reported by other clients as well. We are awaiting fix from SAP.
