Hi Friends,
i am new to SF-EC implementation, i have one client requirement for automatically populate allowance pay components based basic salary pay components.
Example :- if user enter basic salary (AUS-1000) - 4000 AUD.
than below additionally two more components heat allowance, car allowance populate with 10%,& 20% of basic salary.
heat allowance(AUS-1003)- 400 AUD
Car allowance(AUS-2001)- 800 AUD
above both added in paycomponents with recurring

This is possible in EC system, in fact there are multiple ways to achieve this.
1. You can use onsave rules where in as soon as base salary is entered in the compensation information, rest of the compensation will be auto populated based on the rules once you save the portlet.
2. You can also use Onchange rule which will auto populate these pay components after adding some value on the base salary.
3. The best approach is to define the pay components with base salary as their base pay component then use On load rules to populate all the above mentioned pay component and they will automatically fetch the amount once you enter a value in base salary.

Could you please give sample business rule for auto populating the pay components.
If we want to populate components dynamically based on employee group, pay structure how we can bring those components with formal based.
