SF Display Name Format including comma separator

Hello Community,

I am trying to set the display name format to be "Last Name, First Name" so I activated the separator field for the name element according to: Defining a Name Format | SAP Help Portal

When there is a comma separator after the last name the system will not add the space between the names when calculating the display name resulting in: Last Name,First Name

When adding a space after the comma for the separator the whitespace is removed upon save.

I also tried with regex like ", " but this also won't work. Please help.

Hi, I have tested the same in my demo and the result is the same, space is removed upon save. This is the current system design. Best regards, Elsa

Hi Elsa, thanks for verifying this on your end. I still hope to get a statement from SAP product support if/how the mentioned example in the linked SAP Help guide can be achieved: Grant, Carla
