Sequence calculation (PerNr ID) in Rehire Scenario after Onboarding/ Recruiting

Dear all,

does anyone has an idea how to solve this?

We have a regular sequence calculation for PerNr ID in Employee Central. The sequence is calculated correctly event in the rehire/ match popup scenario, the right ID is calculated.

Now Onboarding/ crossboarding is before the match popup process and in the manage pending hire page the pending hire is in the related section.

Why is this an issue, because there are multiple places where you can get the rehire pop-up within the onboarding process (as also listed here Rehire Process Overview | SAP Help Portal)? Assuming onboarding 2.0, I'd expect you to still get the pop-up after the personal data collection step then.
