SEN On Prem - SAP Companion and SLC Player Installation

Hello,

I downloaded the files as described in this "2212836 - Where to download SAP Enable Now On-Premise" and was able to install Producer and Instant Producer. But for SAP Companion and SLC Player, I got errors. I tried to run "navigator.exe" in the path Win C/ Program Files (x86)/SAP Enable Now/SAP Companion for desktop 10 for SAP Companion and "SLC.exe" in the path Win C/ Program Files (x86)/SAP Enable Now/SLC Player 10.

First error image is from SAP Companion, second one from SLC Player. By the way, "ENANOWAE10_0-80002762.ZIP" this is the zip file I downloaded for SAP Enable Now Author which is Enable Now Author Edition 2206 HF and "ENANOWCE10_0-80002764.ZIP" this is the one I downloaded for SAP Enable Now Consumption which is Enable Now Consumption Edition 2206 HF.

Can you help about it? I installed these straightly, without doing anything extraordinary or facing any errors.

Hi Dilara,

Using SAP Companion for Desktop to publish context sensitive help requires the creation and publishing of information through Enable Now Manager; not just the installation of the Navigator.exe file on individual PCs. You can learn more about the steps that are necessary to do this work from the Introduction to SAP Companion for Desktop Webinar recording. This session is not completely correct for the On Premise version so you will also need to consider the steps in the SAP Companion for Desktop Installation Guide.

Did you publish content from Producer to use with the SLC Player? You must publish content from Producer in the SLC format and this will play in the SLC Player.
