SEN. GUI scripting parametr on Client site

Hi, all

in producer manual there is such information

So the question is if we are talking about Client it should be deactivated only for authors or end users too?

In case I'm going to use desktop assistant and scripting is active (End user PC) is it a problem?

Hi Dmitry,

The client-side scripting doesn't matter. The server-side scripting must be ON for:

1. Authors to recognize the UI precisely and capture all the required metadata.
2. Users ONLY IF YOU are going to use SAP Companion for DESKTOP. With all other cases, the GUI scripting for users could be switched OFF.

The client-side scripting might be required for a few advanced users/consultants who need it to run some scripts, etc.
