Good day,
My question is two-fold:
1. Where in the SEN training material on the SAP Learning Hub are the detailed topics explained around the Templates in SEN? I am currently enrolled in the SEN Learning Journey as a refresher, Implementing SAP Enable Now.
But whilst I am doing so, I also have a few deliverables to complete, and my time is limited. I cannot find detail around the importing of templates, specifically, MS Word/Document templates.
2. I need to import a document file as an object. When I'm in Producer, I navigate to: Resources>Adaptable Resources, Documentation Style>SAP Single document. Then I right click to import an object but there is no option to import the object. What is the correct steps to follow to import a Training document template into SEN and what file format should that template be? I have tried different import options as I'm investigating the tool and platform, but the Dot.format is also not accepted.
Please advise. I am a bit limited on time. I have also worked through Dirk's youtube videos but I cannot find more information on templates, specifically document templates.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Mel,
To import new documentation templates into Producer:
1. Start editing the Resources > Adaptable Resources > Documentation Style object - you must have the green editing pencil
2. Click on the Documentation Style object so that it is selected
3. Right click the object and choose Insert File
4. Locate and open your template - .dot or .dotx both work
Once you import the new template, it will be located at the bottom of the existing templates. Watch this video if you want to learning more about importing and using your own branded documentation templates.
Regards
Shane

Dear Shane,
Thank you for the video and the instructions - it was helpful.
I have a technical issue with an imported Template, and only the .dot format worked.
I created a BPI document template for a generating output. (Business Process Instruction). The template is based on a Training Document setting. The BPI output generates from the Simulation file correctly, but if a change is made in the BPI document and saved, there is an error that occurs when updating it back into the server. It seems the Word file then points to another document in the error.
