SEN Companion Standard Content Parameters

Hello all,

Is it possible to configure the standard content with parameters so that it is only displayed to a specific role (e.g. HR)?
My client does not have a SEN license, but would like to display the Companion standard content to certain employees using RBP.

Thank you,

Emelie

Hi Emelie,

It is possible to turn on SAP Companion and display the standard content for that system, if standard content is available.  This does not require SAP Enable Now licenses.  Licenses are only required if your customer wants to display modified standard content or their own content objects.  To turn on SAP Companion to display standard content, refer to the SAP Companion Integration Guide.  The system that will contain SAP Companion must be configured for the Standard Content Only scenario.

SAP Enable Now does support Business Roles functionality to restrict access to content but given that your customer does not have licenses, there will be no ability to restrict access to the standard content.  Once SAP Companion is turned on, all users of SF will have access to that content.

Regards
Shane
