Hi experts
I recently imported a number of reports into Sfs. These reports are not assigned to any roles. If I have admin access, surely I should be able to view these reports? For some reason I cannot see the reports under the Reports category. However when I go into Role Admin, I see the reports on the list of reports available to assign to a role

This is system behavior. If you import a report in the system, the workflow will be created immediately. However, for the admin to be able to see those reports, the workflow should be assigned. Only admin who can access the newly imported reports is the admin who has the role "ALL".
By default, when you import a report, it will be added to the role "ALL". I assume, you do not have the "ALL" role and so can't view the report.
