Our current process for processing secondments in job information is currently assigning the secondment position as a brand new position to the employee record and at secondment end, assigning them back to their primary position.
For secondment extensions, we are currently creating a new entry the day following the secondment end date and updating the new secondment end date.
This causes lots of error in reporting and data entry and we are unable to record on a specific date the one persons substantive/primary and secondment roles.
We are looking to discover the best practice method for both processing secondments and secondment extensions in Success Factors and if you could please provide some resources/documentation to enable us to look into this further?

@paigefolland Have you all had any success with Secondment SOPs or best practice updates from an internal perspective?
Thank you for posting the Customer Influence option. I did see that Global Employee Pops and Concurrent Employment pops still have similar limitations for Seconded employee populations which were confirmed earlier this week via a blog post. While our seconded employee pops are quite small (as are our global) - this is definitely an interesting area that could stand some expansion or better convo from the sys leveraging side to assist customers with options.
