Our current process for managing secondments is not very efficient, where we are currently assigning the secondment position as a brand new position to the employee record and at secondment end, assigning them back to their primary position. This causes lots of error in reporting and data entry and we are unable to record on a specific date the one persons substantive/primary and secondment roles.
I was wondering what the best practice method of processing secondments is with Success Factors and if you could please provide some resources/documentation to enable us to look into this further?
