I have a custom filed in Secondary measurement showing the region and I want to roll up the the attainment based on this custom filed but i can't find the way to use custom filed from SMR to roll up to another SMR
for example :
SMR Position A sales staff total attainment 100 and region A
SMR Position B sales staff total attainment 100 and region A
SMR Position C sales staff total attainment 200 and region B
SMR Position A sales staff total attainment 150 and region B
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SMR Manager Position A Region A = 200
SMR Manager Position B Region B = 350

Unfortunately, You can not roll up based on a custom field of a different rule, as you can not reference those custom fields in a rule (Except the generic fields on a credit rule).
Where did you pull the Region from to insert into the Custom field on the first SMR? whatever that source is, is where you need to pull into the condition of the rule you are trying to roll from.
However, this can be problematic, if that region is coming from the Position of the Subordinate. Because, unlike Rolled Credit rules where you can reference the source credit Position, you can not do so on any other rolled rule.
If the Regions are numerical as you have listed (and that is not just an example) You could assign a FV to each of the Positions with the appropriate numerical Region in it. Then on the condition of the Rolled Measurement you could use the function: Other Position's Quota or Fixed Value, and have that result match the Managers Region.
Hopefully that is helpfu.
Thanks,
Carol
