Dear EnableNow Community,
When we are doing the recordings in SAP GUI, while the search helps are opening for any field, the background screen is greyed out and only the search help window is displaying. We tried with multiple GUI profiles and the problem exists in all profiles. Please refer to the attachment sap-gui-searchhelp-issue.jpg for more details.
So, Could you please let us know if we can mitigate this with any available option in EnableNow or how to overcome it.

Hi Christoph,
I assume that you have chosen (before you start the recording) Active Window. Please change it in your case to Region - it should fix your issue. See screen below.
Maybe this is predefined in the overall authoring settings under Tools/Authoring Settings / Recording - General.

I think what you can try is to also check the "Fit Application Window" check box on the screen that Michael shared. This will fit the SAP GUI window into the red recording area and then the recording bar should not be visible in the recording.

Thanks for your quick response.
Yes, earlier we recorded with Active window. Now, we tried with the Region option and the search help background is also displaying correctly. But when we are using Region option, this is also displaying recording bar in the top which is not expected. As this is not giving a good view in the recordings, may I know if you have any suggestions to hide this recording bar when Region option is used?
