Two SAP Companion users have received errors as shown in the snip below. It appears when SAP Companion is trying to launch.

The 1st error elements show:

The 2nd error elements show:

It has been experienced under the following circumstances:

  • Users are operating on an internal corporate network
  • Browser is Microsoft Edge
  • Equipment are Dell Latitude
  • Action associated : Manual launch of the SAP Companion with the .senl link

Selecting "No" or "Yes" does not resolve the error.

Any ideas or ways to troubleshoot this?

This is Desktop Assistant - if you upgraded to SEN 2305 recently, it's possible that your new Trainer Resource is not set as Default in the workarea. In each Manager workarea, select the new Trainer resource and click Activate in the upper right corner. Then your content should display again. Master Author should do the same thing for each workarea in Producer - select the newest Trainer in the Resources and click the Set As Default button (the "heart") at the top of the Properties pane.

Hi Bart,

Thank for your answer but the new Trainer was already activated. The error comes from something else...

Any other idea?

Unfortunately no.... I think this would be an SAP Support ticket. The mention of SAML in your second error smells like an authentication issue.
