Summary: General Ledger account 101300 is not performing opening item clearing in program SAPF124 of its matching General Ledger transactions within the tolerance limit of $50.00
1. We have a General Ledger balance sheet account 101300 managed on an open item basis.
2. This General Ledger account 101300 has a clearing rule based on two criteria of PRCTR, DMBTR
3. The General Ledger account tolerance group for the account 101300 is “Z001” and set to $50.00
Tolerance group Z001 settings are as follows:
Company Code 1000 The Reject Shop Limited
Tolerance group Z001 TRS POS clearing $50
Debit posting 50.00 AUD Percentage 99.9 %
Credit posting 50.00 AUD Percentage 99.9 %
4. Configuration transaction DSA Differences arising from G/L acct clearing is setup with General ledger account 503075
5. All other General Ledger open item managed accounts (not using clearing criteria DMBTR) are all successfully clearing their transactions using program SAPF124 within tolerance limits.
6. An example of the problem would be two transactions (within General Ledger account 101300) for the same profit centre 1000, and have amounts of -$1,480.00 and $1,470.00 respectively. The tolerance variance between the two transactions is $10.00 and is within the General Ledger tolerance limit of $50.00 for this account. However program SAPF124 will not clear each transaction against each other with this $10.00 variance even though this is with the $50.00 allowable clearing tolerance amount set in configuration for this General Ledger account.
7. Please advise how this issue can be overcome as it is important we use a clearing rule based on two criteria of PRCTR, DMBTR and have a tolerance variance allowable up to $10.00 or more.
Many thanks if you can assist on this issue. Cheers Phil Lengyel

Hi Sanil, thank you for your reply. Yes profit center is on each transaction's BSEG table entries. But I still cannot get a tolerance to work based on nearly matching opposite amounts by the same profit centre.Cheers Phil

Hi
Could you check if the line items to be cleared have PRCTR updated in Table BSEG, which you would expect to be cleared?
Thanks & regards
