Hi All,

In SAP SF EC Time Management, when an employee applies for leave, the request should go to their manager and get approved — how can this be achieved?

Hi, Xavier

There are several ways you can configure the workflows:

1. Under time type object, you can define the workflows for each time type just like your screenshot.

workflow implementation guide:

https://help.sap.com/docs/successfactors-employee-central/implementing-and-managing-workflows/workfl...

2. You can also configure a MDF rule under Employee Time object to define the workflows:

https://help.sap.com/docs/successfactors-employee-central/implementing-time-management-in-sap-succes...

3. Or you can just leave the workflow fields blank under Time Type and define your own workflows under Employee Time object just like Case 2.

Hi, Xavier, if that case please report a ticket under Employee Central so our support engineer can take a deep check and see why it does not work. It is hard for us to answer detailed configuration issues which may be caused by many factors.
