SAP HCM/SuccessFactors Standard Integration to Concur

Former Member

Hello,

Could anyone confirm if there is already a standard integration between SAP HCM or SuccessFactors to Concur for Employee Master Data and Organizational Structures? Which one is better? If the standard integration is still not available, and an interface needs to be developed, what is the best source - SAP HCM or SuccessFactors?

Is there any documents available that would tell more about this?

Thank you in anticipation.

Hello, since the last comment is 10 month old. I wanted to revise the question, at this point is there standard integration available between SuccessFactors and Concur?

Hi, currently there is no standard integration between SFSF and Concur. Future direction for an integration between SuccessFactors and Concur will be the usage of a master data service in between.

Hi all!

Are there any news regarding this SAP SFSF to Concur integration for master data synchronization (maintaining HR payroll in SAP HCM)?

Thank you!

There is no standard integration between SFSF and Concur. We can create a normal IC from SAP SuccessFactors to send the data to Concur.

We had already created our own IC and it is working fine now.

Thank you,

Hari.

Hi Siddharth, any updates regarding the standard SF-Concur integration package?

Do we know if it will cover both travel and expense profiles?

Thanks.

SAP Master Data Integration https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2954816

this would be used as a sole way to share data between SAP products for workforce data

Is it possible to get access to the BETA version, we are about to embark on the integration custom build as we found out on our project that Concur to SAP HCM native integration doesn't work with Travel

yeah that's of the reason why we decided to leave HR integration as-is (file based) until Travel profile creation is included.

Could you please share some details on this, as I understand travel profile is not yet available. but what we have and can we access the BETA version?

Thank you.

What does it mean, the note is not available?

I built a flat file export in EC integration center to concur, connection and encryption works fine, but Concur wants UTF8-BOM and Integration center outputs UTF-8 without BOM

What to do?

Thank you

Malte

Hi,
I would also like to know this since we are also in the starting blocks to build a integration between SF and Concur.

Thanks in advance!

As i mentioned this would be available

We will not build a direct integration with EC (as originally planned). Instead they plan to build an integration based on the new SAP Cloud Platform Master Data service for workforce (which is in line with our overall Intelligent Enterprise integration strategy). MDW is planned to be delivered in limited availability in 2019-Q4, the Concur integration is planned to be available some time in 2020.

Please note this is tentative, We ll update the material once released

As of now, you can use ERP Or S4HANA integration with Concur

Will integration with succesfactors factors cover 305 and 350 records? That's needed in case company use Concur both for travel and expense.

Can you please suggest what approach to take while updating ListItems in Concur from Successfactor. It is imortant to note there that there are 5 Org unit levels in Concur and in SF 4 of the levels are maintained in FO_Data while Work city is maintained in Picklist so there is not association between level 3 and level 4 (which is Work City) and also no association between level 4 and level 5. One approach I can think of is to maintain same list item like concur in Successfactor and keep updating each time there is a update in Concur list item. There is a little challenge in this approach but I am looking for some expert advice to achieve this.

The integration is still in beta

in this case the currently proposed workaround is to have ERP as the data hub for HR data.

We have released and supported integration and migration of employee data from SF to ERP and the same from ERP to Concur.
