Dear Experts,
We replicate Employee Data from SAP ERP HCM to Employee Central Using SAP HANA Cloud Integration as the Middleware.
When new employee is sent to successfactors for the first time (via web service), the new successFactors user is created. The question is: is it possible to send the welcome email to the new created user automatically?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi everyone,
I am in the process of creating the integration HCM --> HCI --> SF. Unfortunately, I am a beginner. Do you have detailed documentation on basic settings from SAP and HCI?
Regards,
Dilan

Hello Agata,
You have one more option, you can leverage SuccessFactors Intelligent Service to trigger an event from SF to SAP HCI once new user hired. From SAP HCI you can send a mail to requested user ( it might require additional effort from SAP HCI and SF perspective ).
Flow Would be something like below
Employee Creation: SAP ERP---SAP HCI---SuccessFactors
New Hire email: SuccessFactors[ Event Trigger using SuccessFactors Intelligent Service ]---Consume the Event in SAP HCI using Custom Integration-- Send a welcome mail to new user created.

yes you can send the mail once he is sent to SFSF system and trigger the mail
below 'Welcome Message Notification with Rest Password * instead.
The email configuration will only check that option. Please check that option and retry.
2244514 - Welcome Message doesn't appear when an employee is created using SFAPI User *
you should configure BADi: BADI: HRSFI_B_SFSF_API_PARAMETER
This will help you in triggering the email notification from your HCM system.
