Hi Rima,
We are doing it almost in the same way like with SAP applications. For apps that do not have web UI (don't run in a web browser) use Standard or Quick recording profile. For apps that have web UI - please select Generic Web Application or Quick recording profile.
P.S. Quick recording is used when you are NOT GOING to use recording in the Desktop Assistant.
