Sap Enable Now (Web Assistant)

Good day,

Can you please answer on my question.

Now Manager for Sap E Now is installed on my computer. In server's settings is activated web assistant for Sap E Now. Is it possible to change guided tour or make corrections of bubbles inside this program or it is possible when integration with SCP has done?

I have read instructions on SAP Help portal how to edit bubbles in web assistant but inside E Now program I didn't find this function.

The second question, is it possible to activate web assistant on the mobile devices? For example will it work if integration between SAP E Now and SF was activated and I made sign on from my mobile device in SF, will web assistant showed on my mobile screen?

Hello Sofia,

I am assuming you are using the on-premise version of SAP Enable Now? Please note that Web Assistant requires a HANA database.

The activation of the Web Assistant in the SAP Enable Now Manager server settings activates the Web Assistant only for the Manager. So you get a little question mark on the top right of your screen in the manager, and when you click on it you see a side bar with context help about the manager user interface.

This is only for the SAP Enable Now Manager and contains non-editable standard content. If you want to set up Web Assistant for other target applications like Success Factors, please have a look at the Web Assistant Integration Guide. Or also in the Infocenter there is a step-by-step guide.

Content you create on your own for Success Factors can then be edited either directly on screen in the Web Assistant or in the Producer.

Regarding mobile devices, if you can access the target application via a browser in desktop mode from your mobile device, yes, the Web Assistant will show. Please read this blog article on what this will look like and how feasible this is - because it might not make sense to go into this direction with any target application.

Hi Sofia,

sorry my initial answer was incorrect. You can edit the bubbles from the context help and the Guided Tours also into the SAP Enable Now Producer. Some times is hard to locate this contextual help in your work structure. If you are in your Web Assistant in Edit Mode you can select your contextual help, click on the small gear wheel in the panel and click there on "show in Manager Workspace". This leads you to the Manger and gives you the information where the object is located in your work structure. From there you can open your Producer and navigate to the Guided Tour or the Contextual help you want to edit. If you cant find it in your Producer, please click on "Server Workarea" & Check out Objects. After this sync you should be able to find the Guided Tours and Contextual help. The green symbols you are looking for. Just make a double click on it and you can edit them. This approach of editing it in the Producer is especially helpful if you want to add pictures in your bubbles.
