SAP Enable Now - Use SAP Companion for non-SAP systems

Good day,

I have received information about release 2206. In the new guide was mentioned information about integration of SAP Companion with non-SAP systems, but in the release book i couldn't find info.

Would you help me to find information about new configuration for SAP Companion and instruction how to apply this tool.

Hi all,

As far as I know, this will be offered as a consulting service provided by SAP partners, as this is not a straightforward and out-of-the-box thing. A person who can deliver this service must be experienced not only in SAP Enable Now but in Web Development. SAP will provide support to partners, providing this service, but won't offer it on SAP papers (due to legal reasons).

Hi Anton and Sofia,

Anton is right - the availability of SAP Companion for non-SAP applications is limited to a few solutions which we have thoroughly tested and which will be provided by the SAP Enable Now team.

Our plan for most of the non-SAP applications out there will need to rely on partners and SAP consultants. They will go through an enablement program, which is being piloted at this time, and then they will be able to analyze and create custom integrations for SAP Companion where necessary and feasible.

I know this is not much more than what Anton was saying, but there will be more information coming soon after the release.

This is the '3rd Party Web Assistant' functionality that has been unofficially available for a short while. I haven't seen any official documentation on it (although there have been a few Webinars). I would expect it to appear in the 2206 SAP Companion Integration Guide (assuming that's what they rename the Web Assistant Integration Guide).
