Hello everyone,

I have been cleaning up my unsorted objected in the SAP Enable Now Manager but I have 2 group objects that throw the following errors when I attempt to delete. Any insights you can offer are greatly appreciated.

With (1) maybe you can't drag it out because you do not have the place you are trying to move it to checked out for editing.

Did you rename your root to Ingram Content, or is that a different Group? Some of the things you mention (especially stuff being placed in Unsorted) implies that you have not got the full 'root' structure synchronized. "Unsorted" is usually things that don't have a 'home' under Root - usually because one of the 'nodes' isn't available in your local Workarea. Go to Server Workarea > Check Out Objects, and see what still needs to be synchronized. If there are objects listed, make sure you select at least all the nodes between the root and your Toolbox and content, and 'check out' (synchronize) them.

Your (3) is confusing, with that Group being in multiple places. You should be able to delete the Ingram Content from Unsorted, but just to check... Select menu option View > Workarea Details > Show Structure Reference Counter. If Ingram Content shows a (2), you can safely delete the version of it in Unsorted (and don't worry if it says "Delete on Server" - what you are deleting is the reference to this Group from the parent object.

If the person who created them hadn't synched you would likely see a black icon with a (?) on it, so that's probably not the problem.

Thank you for the help dirkmanuel2 . I was able to contact the original author, had him sync his workspace and and delete from his producer.

Again thank you for the time and help.

Best,

Hello,

I once faced the same issue and i tried to delete them from the producer and it worked for me therefore, the best ways to do it is to delete it form the producer if it's possible for you.
Good Luck.

dirkmanuel2 thank you for the response.

  1. Unfortunately objects cannot be dragged out at all. When I try this action a prohibited symbol appears (dragout.jpg)
  2. I have synced my Workarea but these group objects do not appear in my producer (producer.jpg).
  3. For the second/bottom "content" object yes all the content has been deleted. I cannot delete the 2nd level object "Project2019115" (empty-contents.jpg). However for the first/top object I dare not delete the contents since they are direct references to my root objects (ref1.jpg, ref2.jpg). I tried deleting one of the sub-objects "Ingram Toolbox" and it disappeared form the root and was placed into the unsorted bucket so I quickly restored the object.

After some research I am thinking that the whoever created these objects might have not synchronized their Workarea. Maybe this content will be downloaded as soon as the Author synchronizes their Workarea? Just throwing an idea out there.

(1) Can you drag them out of Unsorted and THEN delete them?

(2) Can you delete them from Producer?

(3) Can you delete all their contents, first?

This is the two "Content" Groups shown in your screenshot? Typically, a "Content" group is automatically created but only locally - these look as though they were saved to the server, though.
