SAP Enable Now throwing a ZIP Error

Hello there,

We have deleted cache and temp files and cloud WA files from Appdata > Local. Now, whenever we try to launch Producer, we are getting this error (attached screenshot). We even tried installing JAVA, but that does not help. We have reinstalled SEN, but the issue persists

Please help!

This is normally caused by your internet speed being to slow or the need update some file names.

Here is a guide on what to do to fix the issue: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2913561

Resolution

There are two possible approaches to fixing this issue:

A. Minimal change approach:

1. In system with the error please go to C:\Users\<UserID>\AppData\Local\Temp\wpb_cloud\Cache\<filename>

2. There should be an "index.xml" created in the same Cache folder. Move this "index.xml" file out to some other place for backup.

3. Now click 'Open producer' (or 'Open Instant Producer' or 'Desktop Assistant' as appropriate) from manager to re-launch the desktop component through SEN App Launcher .

OR

B. Force replacement of the entire wpb_cloud directory:

1. In system with the error please go to C:\Users\<UserID>\AppData\Local\Temp\

2. Delete or rename the wpb_cloud folder

3. Now click 'Open producer' (or 'Open Instant Producer' or 'Desktop Assistant' as appropriate) from manager to re-launch the desktop component through SEN App Launcher which will re-download the entire wpb_cloud folder.

Please mark correct answer if this helps

Thanks

Thanks Jesse for your detailed response, appreciate it. We tried first approach earlier and tried second one today, but the issue persists!

Hi Mandeep,

in addition to Jesse's suggestions, please check if your Firewall is blocking any file extensions that are being used by SAP Enable Now.

Take Care,

Kristina
