SAP Enable Now : Single Document Generation Error

Unable to generate a document in the local project folder when generating a single document. Need help in solving the issue of storing and displaying the pdf/word document in Producer, but not opening after generation. Unable to understand the solutions provided in this document.

Please help!

Hi,

The documentation you linked into your question is indicating that there are 3 potential issues preventing the PDF document from being generated:

1. There is a Group Policy issue, a specific setting must be turned off (speak to your IT team about that one)
2. There is a setting in Producer that can be set to tell Producer to use the old version of Word templates (.dot) not the new version .dotx.  Set the setting as described in the document to use the old version
3. Manually add labels to documents after generating them; use the instructions in the document.

This KBA might also be helpful to understand your issue but try to 3 items above first.  You will probably also need your IT to help you with this because it involves downloading and running an executable file.

Thank you for your swift response. 

I had initially faced the issue of corporate sensitive labels unavailable for word templates. I had used this solution to fix all the templates : 3496749 - Add your corporate sensitive lables to the documentation template from Producer - SAP for ....

Unfortunalely, with this fix, I was only able to generate Hands-on that has SAP - Single Document template in the new format (.dotx). All the other templates are not responding. Although getting written in the producer, they're not being stored in the project location, and also prompting for sensitivity label and physical save in a different location in my local system. I would like to understand how only 1 template is working, and all the others are not. 

Also, this would indicate that I cannot use the .dot files anymore. Am I right? 

Here is an example : As mentioned, I was able to generate the hands-on document, and job help with the .dotx template fix. But, only the hands-on document was saved in the location. The other two files are physically unavailable. 

As per the fix no. 3 in the solution(3411718 - SAP Enable Now Producer: PDF export visible in library, but no PDF file is generated - SAP...) - I was prompted to save the document in my local system, I did save it in the project folder. 

Later, I had to manually upload the file into the simulation in SEN Producer

I am not sure if this is how it is supposed to work. 

Please share your thoughts.
