SAP Enable Now SAML SSO fails

I have SAP Enable now set up with an extended work area, however the SAML SSO is failing on log in. The S4HANA authenticates but then SAP Enable Now window pops up asking for credentials. If I manually add them for SEN Manager then SEN does authenticate. What could be the issue with the config?

Thanks

Hi David,

its important that the SSO for both application worlds (Web Assistant's SAP Enable Now Manager & and the target application like S4HANA) must run through the same IAS tenant.

Please check this KBA for additional Information:

https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2823440

If you are not using IAS please check the Info Center for the other available SSO scenarios:

https://enable-now.sap.com/ic/wa/ext/%7Etag/published/index.html?show=book!BO_1CD9526D708C8F82#SL_79...

There are also additional KBAs linked.

If you think the configuration is set up correctly and its still not working, please reach out to our support team by using the component: KM-WPB-MGR so they can have a deeper look on your configuration.

If the answer was helpful, please accept it.

Best regards, Michael

Hi david748s,

The additional authentication happens when:

1) Both applications (S/4 and SAP Enable Now) do not share the same IAS Tenant for SSO

2) When the tracking prevention in the browser is enabled or SAP Enable Now, S/4 and IAS aren't added to the trusted sites (that can set cookies)

Even after following all prerequisite still facing issue, then need to make sure Enable now portal setting are correct.

Login to your repected Enable now portal with Admin Access

Check ->Administrator -> Server Setting -> User Management
