Hi everyone,
I'm interested to know how much RAM those of you who are using Enable Now Producer with Windows 10 have in your PCs.
I'm experiencing a lot of software crashes and am wondering if it's RAM related.
Many Thanks,
Andrew
Request clarification before answering.
My 'work' machine has 8gb. It seems to use about 6gb before I even open an application. Like Wallace says, I close other memory-intensive applications if I'm making extensive use of Producer, just as a precaution and to speed things up a bit (less thrashing). Note that running Manager in the browser takes up a LOT of memory as well so I shut that down too if I'm working in Producer and don't need both open.
The other thing I have noticed is that the cloud edition requires a fair amount of disk space to start up, and will "stop working" if you don't have as much as it needs. The Requirements guide Jesse links to recommends "at least 2gb depending on Workarea(s) size". My primary Workarea's local repository is currently running at 8.63gb (I know...) and when I was down to around 5gb of free disk space I couldn't open Producer any more. Had to clean up my (paltry 80gb) disk before I could even open Producer.

Hi Jesse,
Thanks for the information.
My laptop has 8GB of RAM, but around 4GB is used just by Windows 10.
I've got a crash log I can share.
Many Thanks,
Andrew
